Temerty Medicine Cecil Yip Piano - Access and Guidelines
The Cecil Yip Grand Piano (currently in the MSB cafeteria) was generously donated to the Temerty Faculty of Medicine by Mr. Terrence Donnelly and is meant to be used and enjoyed by learners, staff, and other members of the faculty. The following document outlines the Acceptable Use Policy for the piano, as well as the procedures for booking the piano. Please direct any questions to the Office of Learner Affairs (OLA) at ola.reception@utoronto.ca.
Acceptable Use Policy
The piano may only be played weekdays after 5:00pm and/or before 8:30am (consistent with the MSB cafeteria hours of operation). This is to minimize disturbance to classes and staff who have offices in the vicinity.
Please wash your hands before playing the piano.
Please do not have any food or drinks on or near the piano.
Please remember to lock the piano after use.
Please do not share the combination or location of the piano locker.
If you notice any damages to the piano, please report damages immediately via email to OLA Reception.
Booking the Piano for Use
To sign-out the piano key, please contact OLA Reception with the following information (requests must come from your U of T email):
